Born in La Pradera, Colombia in 1980, Nadia studied acting at Compania Nacional de Teatro in Bogotá between 2001-2003. Following her graduation, she studied contemporary dance at the Academia Superior de Artes de Bogotá and worked with some of the most prestigious theatre companies in the country, including El Otro Teatro and Acto Latino.

Woman in Three was originally developed within Acto Latino, under the direction of Sergio Gonzalez, the artistic director of the company, with dancing direction by Patricia Borbon. The monologue had its premiere in Bogotá on 14 December 2007 and was first performed in London on 18 June 2008 at the Oval House Theatre.
